Located in a designated area known for its outstanding natural beauty, a walkers paradise, with views of the surrounding countryside, Findley Cottage is ideal for walkers, cyclists, sailing enthusiasts and birdwatchers. We are only minutes walking distance from Alton Water, with its breathtaking views and scenery, wildlife and water sports; whilst walking in the other direction takes you to the Stour estuary, where one can breathe in the sea air, enjoy the bird life and perhaps even take a cruise, taking in the beautiful sights and local interest along the River Stour and Orwell.

Also within walking distance are the local village pubs and restaurants, who offer delicious home cooked food.

Open all year round; the cottage, which was originally built in the 18th century, can be booked as a whole or for bed and continental breakfast accommodation.
